Hilton International announced it has signed a contract to operate the new Hotel Swell being built on the Ashdod beach. The Swell will have 84 rooms with a pool on the roof. It will be located to the north of the Ashdod Marina and to the south of the port. The hotel will be operated under the Curio brand, the first hotel under that brand in Israel. Hilton currently operated two hotels in Israel — the Tel Aviv Hilton and the Waldorf Astoria in Jerusalem. The hotel is expected to open in 2021.
