This is down 18% from the record $9.1 billion sale of exports in 2017. The most significant drop was from sales to the Asian Pacific region, which dropped 35%, from $5.3 billion in 2017, to $3.45 billion in 2018. Sales to Africa also dropped in 2017, from 5% of total exports in 2018, to 2%.
