After its merger with US Air, American flew to Israel for a brief period, after acquiring US Air\u2019s Philadelphia-Tel Aviv route; a route which American terminated soon after the merger. American announced its new destinations for 2020, which include Tel Aviv. Starting in September 2020, American Airlines will begin non-stop service from its hub at Dallas, Ft. Worth airport, three times each week.
