E8 was founded in 2014, and has raised $18 million, to date. Accel Fund, Vertex and Magama have been E8\u2019s lead investors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E8 has developed specialized software that allows users to take advantage of the speed storage on SSD drives, while at the same time, using a private cloud to actually store the data.
