The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) reported a rise in the unemployment rate in Israel. In the month of November, Israel’s unemployment rate rose from 3.5% to 3.9% the month before. The CBS also revised October’s figure, initially reported to be 3.4% to 3.5%. At the same time, the CBS reported participation rate in the labour force among persons aged 15 and over has increased — 63.7% (62.9% during the previous month).
The November employment rate (the percentage of employed persons out of the total population) among persons aged 15 and over = 61.2% (60.7% during the previous month).
The November unemployment rate among persons aged 25-64 from the labour force = 3.2% (3.0% in the previous month).
Participation rate in the labour force among persons aged 25-64 in November = 80.9% (80.3% during the previous month).
Employment rate among persons aged 25-64 = 78.3% in November (77.9% during the previous month).
The share of employed persons usually working full time out of total employed persons = 78.1% in November (78.4% during the previous month).
