CEO of Israel Discount Bank, Lilach Asher-Topilsky announced she has decided to resign. The effective date of her resignation has not been announced. Asher-Topilsky has been head of Bank Discount for the past five years and was considered to be extremely successful in that top position. Under her watch, the company’s return on equity doubled, its net profits tripled, and Discount bank began to pay dividends, for the first time in twenty years.
Asher-Topilsky is leaving Israel Discount Bank to become a partner in Pimi, a private equity firm, in which the bank is a major investor.
