Mortgages totaling NIS 20 billion were issued to Israelis during June of 2019. This represents a 3% increase from May and 22% more than June of 2017. Since the beginning of 2019, there has been a steady increase in the number of apartments sold in Israel. This constitutes the highest sum of mortgages issued since August 2015.
